Matt Wilmshurst is a 2D Visual Effects Artist who mainly works with Autodesk's Flame & Smoke's online compositing systems. Matt has completed Visual effects work on TV Commercials, Feature Films, Music Videos, Fashion films, Virals and Online Video content. Over the last 20 years Matt has had the pleasure of working alongside some of the most highly regarded names in Commercial Post-Production. Matt is also a VFX supervisor working onset for all VFX needs.
Matt began his career as a runner in 1998 at The Mill London and quickly made his way up to Flame Assistant. Training under Flame Artist's such as Barnsley (consistently voted No.1 VFX artist), Neil Davies (2D Head, The Mill London), Angus Kneale (MD, Mill New York) and Jason Watts (Finish) Matt gained a wealth of knowledge.
Matt has worked at all the leading London Post houses and also works out of his Brighton Studio servicing Offsite VFX production.
